Chopping and Changing

gen2

Hi guyssss,
Just me checking in with a small update. As you might have seen briefly earlier, I was messing around on the blog, and it’s resulted in some changes.

Since I’m now sure that A Monte Vista Story is going to be a legacy type thing, I realised that calling it that isn’t going to cut it anymore. Hence why you’ll in the future find it underΒ Monte Vista Stories. I’ve given the first generation the subtitleΒ Good Guys, because it seemed fitting. There’s also some changes to the about pages for both MVS (welp, gotta get used to calling it that), as well as the CoM page. I added a page for Regina’s generation too, though there’s nothing much yet. Just thinking ahead, ya know πŸ™‚

Anyway, this was just a short update to prevent confusion. I hope you’re having a great week and I’ll see you in the next post.

Cheers!
~Louise

P.S.: Have the stupid picture of Gina again, because it’s too good not to have up (and yes, that’s Nagirl in the background to the right… the guy to the left? Well, you’ll just have to wait and see):

She makes that face every time I leave her idle.

      • Yeah, I thought 2019 was too far away. Anyway, excited to read her story when the right comes for it πŸ™‚

      • Ha, ha, yeah, I’d have nothing to post for like a year apart from endless photoshoots of Carlo and Vittoria :O And I’m way too excited for gen 2 to wait so long πŸ™‚
Thanks for noticing, though. I’m super embarrassed!

      • Don’t be! Everyone makes mistakes. All we need to do is correct them and move on. πŸ™‚ *says the person who can’t get over the fact she messed up bipolar disorder and OCD back in freaking generation 3* Don’t mind me, be smarter XD

      • He, he, it’s true and it’s something I’m working on. It’s hard, though πŸ˜› I really am grateful, though – I’d written it in two places and was about to write it in a third πŸ˜›

  1. Oh the faces our sims make. Too funny.
Isn’t reorganizing your blog fun? I recently updated and rearranged a few things when Lincoln took over. It can be a time consuming pain in the butt, but in the end it is always worth it. πŸ™‚

    • Ha, ha, yes! It always cracks me up when I’m doing something super serious and then one of my sims do the stupid evil laugh or something (I’ve had that a lot because Carlo and Vittoria are both Evil).
It’s really fun, but yes, a pain! :O the menus really bugged me this time for some reason. Why wordpress, why?! I think it turned out pretty cool, though!

      • I know what you mean. Brandon is a coward, so he does that coward scared face all of the time!!
I was poking around a bit, and everything looks great.

      • Ha, ha πŸ˜€ I think Gina got absent-minded, hence her silly face!
        Thank you! ❀

  2. I love the title of the first generation! Good Guys lol… yeah right! (although it’s fitting cause Carlo is a good guy deep down… at least compared to all the other scumbags he had to face!)
Although I’ll miss Carlo and Vittoria so much when this generation is over, I’m very looking forward to gen 2! ❀

    • Ha, ha πŸ˜€ Glad you like it! It’s both the name of the gang and there’s kind of an underlying theme of good and what makes a person good (or so I tell myself because I think it sounds smart).
I’ll miss them, too, though Carlo has a guaranteed appearance in one of the first chapters of gen 2 πŸ˜‰ I can’t wait to start it! ❀

  3. I think the changes are brilliant! Of course, I love everything you do, so there you have it. πŸ˜€

  4. Sims are kind of exaggerated… πŸ˜‰ Love their expressions – they probably need to be so expressive as nobody understands simlish… :/

    • Ha, ha, they are very exaggerated!
In my experience, the expressions also need to be exaggerated to read properly – that’s my experience with poses, anyway. If you made the facial expressions too subtle, they just don’t look like they’re there. The vanilla expressions don’t have that problem, heh πŸ˜›

      • I like your poses, the handshake one is so great, I just wish I had it earlier!
